THE STRATFORD SEAT. [United Pbess Association.] HAWERA, Friday. Mr N. J. King, the Independent Liberal candidate for the Stratford seat, addressed a good meeting last night at Stratford. He said ho was generally in accord with the present Government, but he would vote according to the dictates of his own conscience if elected. He advocated giving back-block settlers roads and pushing on with the Strat-ford-Ongarue railway. He received a vote of thanks.
