HOLIDAY PROGRAMME.
The banks at Nelson and Motueka will be closed for tho Easter recess from Friday to Monday, inclusive, and also on Thursday, 23rd inst. Easter" services are advertised at St. Mary's, Nelson, beginning to-morrow at 6.30. The "Mail" will not be published on Good Friday. It will come out as usual en Saturday, and at about 9.30 a.m. instead of iii the afternoon on Easter Monday. Bowling matches will be played on tho local greens throughout the holidays, in which visiting teams will take part. I Visiting teams of footballers wijll play matches on Saturday and Easter Monday. Special holiday notices in regard to the Post Office are published in the shipping column. The Volunteers will leave town tomorrow for Redwood's Valley, where Easter manoeuvres will be carried out. Tho Shedwood Lodge of Druids will hold a festival at Tapawera on Easter Monday. The "Koi will run an excursion tnp to Motueka on Monday, leaving Nelson at 8.30 a.m. and Motueka at 9 p.m. The railway management has drawn up a special" holiday timetable, details of | which 'have been published. It is understood that the majority of 1 the business premises will be closed for I ' four days. There will be a late night to-morrow. I The solicitors' offices will be closed ' from Friday to Tuesday, inclusive.
