THE IMPORTATION OF GRAPES.
AUSTRALIAN GROWERS DISSATISFIED. [United i?nn.aa Association.] AUCKLAND, Monday. The steamer arriving from Sydney on Sunday did 'not bring any grapes, as Australian growers are disappointed with the result of the shipment last week, which did not- return the growers Id a lb. As the season has n6t been a good one and as the output is below the average, New South Wales growers are not "inclined to send further shipments to New Zealand this season. Adelaide grapes will be ready in a fort-•i-^ht hence, and a trial shipment may be^ made to the Dominion.
