CANTERBURY ASSIZES.
[United Pbess Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. At the Supremo Court to-day Hans Wilson was acquitted of murdering his wife at Addington, on the ground of insanity. He was ordered to be kept in strict custody at Sunnyside Mental Hospital. Edward Veate was charged with keeping a betting house. He was fined ten pounds. •
