THE AMERICAN PACIFIC SQUADRON.

AN IMPRESSIVE DEPARTURE. AN APPRECIATION OF PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT. [United Peess Association.— Copy eight.] NEW YORK, Tuesday. President Roosevelt, aboard the Mayflower, reviewed Admiral Evans' Pacific Fleet, and led the Squadron out of the bay, amid mighty strains of music. The spectacle was highly impressive. LONDON, Tuesday. The "Times" sayss Mr Boosevelt'3 enthusiasms are thoroughly British : n being leavened with strong practical sense and solid practical aims. The cruise is a demonstration of the views he expounded in his latter message to Congress. The "Times" is confident that he has taken measures to defeat any attempt of Labour politicians to turn the visit to the Pacific ports into a dangerous demonstration.
