SUBURBAN NORTH.
ROAD BOARD. The monthly meeting of the Suburban North Road Board was held at the Hillside School last week. Accounts amounting to £34 4s 3d were passed for payment. The Overseer reported that the new suspension bridge required painting with two coats of best oil paint, A letter was received from Mr W. R. May a king to have his half-holi-day altered from Thursday to Wednesday. The clerk was instructed to inquire of the Minister of Labour if it is legal to change the half-holiday during the term, and to inform Jlr May of his decision. Resolved that the Overseer havo the suspeiißion bridge painted as required, and iron rods made not to exceed fl. It was decided that tho Chairman and Clerk wait on the Roads Department re grants for Upper Teal Valley, and that the Clerk write to the Commissioner for Crown Lands asking to be allowed to expend the thirds accumulated in favour of the Board for the year ending 31st July 1907, for repairs of a ford in tho Uuper Teal Valley.
