The monthly meeting of the Nelson Land Board was held yesterday. Pre-sent-Messrs F. W. The Maoriland Copper Company Ld., were granted permission to cleai a track to run a telephone lins? fron the mines to Nelson, subject to neces sarv precautions being taken againsl destruction of bush by fire. The Commissioner informed the Board that he had communicated with th< Warden, stating that an occupation Ii cense was held by C.
