Last evening the Westport visitors were tho guests of the Nelson Hockey Association at a smoke conceit at the Wakatu social hall, the fuuc'ioh being a most ''movable one. Mr il. R. Duncan, President of the Association, occupied the chair, and cordially welcomed the visitors to Nelson. During the evening a number of toasts were honoured, interspersed with songs, etc., by those present. The gathering was brought to a close shortly before 11 o'clock with the singing of Auld Lang Svn <"- ,- ■ ,- v . This morning the Kai kaha team proceeded to Motueka in the Koi, and are playing the local team this afternoon. They will return to-night. To-morrow morning the visitors will be taken for a drive by the Association, and in the afternoon will play a match against the Nelson Club. The following will represent the Nelson Club, the ma.lch to start at 3.15.:— Savage, Spear (2), Stewart, Taylor, Seldon, Anstice, Packard, King, Gilbert, Walker.
