WELLINGTON RACES. [United Pkess Association.] WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Wellington Racing Clnb's winter meeting opened to-day in fine weather. The attsndance waa large, including his Excellency the Governor, Sir Joseph Ward Hong- Carroll. Millar, and Findlay, and members of Parliament. The sum of £5308 was paesed through the totalisator, being £3856 more than tha > corresponding day of last year.
