[United Peess Association.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. The New Zealand Rtierby Union has anpointed Mr Edgar Wylie manager of the New Zealand (earn to tour Australia. Mr Galbraith, Treasurer of the Union ,and Mr Wylie will represent the Union at the Conference in Sydney of Australasian Uuions, when a new agreement will be drawn up. It was decided to allow the members of the team three shillings a day each travelling allowance. If possible, a match will be arraneed for July 6th. between ike New Zealand team and Wellington I'ioviuce. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-nieht, the disqualifications irricosed by the Southland and Otago Unions were made general. In reply to the Wellington Rugby Union's request for a ruling explaining under what conditions an individual might receive monetary consideration for services rendered to football organisations and still letain amateur status, it was decided to reply that monetary consideration may be received by any such, person without destroying his amateur status so long as he does not play football.
