HOCKEY.
At a meeting of the Nelson Hockey Association Executive Committee last evening final arrangements were made tor the ladies' six-a-side tournament to be held next Wednesday in the Botanical Reseeve. Ten teams were entered, and matches drawn as follows—Wakatu B v. Wainui B; Wakatu C v. College A ; Wakatu A v. College B ; Ka; Ora v. St. John's; Wainui A v. Ihistle; the remaining rounds to be played in rotation. It was decided that it teams in any match were equal two minutes after full time, the game should be given to the team first striking the ball while in their opponents' circle. There is keen rivalry between the various clubs, and some exciting matches should ,be witnessed. Messrs Dougan and S. Taylor wore apoointed call-stewards, and Mr T. Harford timekeeper. At the request of the Richmond club, the match against the Nelson B team set down for to-morrow has been postponed.
