A ROAD GRIEVANCE.
STRATFORD, Tuesday. A representative meeting of the Taranaki public bodies held to-night protested against the Ohura road being handed over by the Government to the Stratford County Council. It was shown that the maintenance, of • the road would cost £2000 a year, and the County Council would receive only £800 in revenue from that road district.
