, AUCKLAND, Tuesday. At a mei^nlg of the Auckland Seddon. Memorial Technical College Committee it was reported that £2308 had been subscribed, and of this sUni nearly £200 came from subscribers donating £100 eac'i, so in fact only - £308 has been gnc-i by the general public. The Maynr (Mr Myers) considered that it w.?s extraordinary that atly of the collator's, had experienced any difficulty in collecting from the public. The result had been very disappointing It was resolved to cal lin all the subscription lists at once.
