KIA ORA CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Kia Ora Club was held at the Richmond Institute, being well attended. The re» port was read, and the balance-sheet showed the club to be in a sound financial position. The election of officers cetulted :—President, Mm Orford; cuptain, Miss Cresswell; vice-captain, Miss Henman ; sercetaiy, .Miss J. Ingram; committee, Misses M. Wray, R. Meyer, M. Andrews, E. Hodson, and H. Morgiu. It was resolved to commence play this week, and to leave the matter of affiliation with the Association in th Q hands of (he Cnni|nittee. A ladles' hacl)>v club has been formed at Central Takaka. A meeting of the Richmond Hockey Club will be held in the Institute Richmond to-morrow evening.
