HOCKEY.
ANNUAL MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Nelson Hockey Association was held at Stallard's "rooms on Friday evening. Mr W. W. Clifford (Vice-President) * occupied the chair, and delegates from all clubs were present. The report and balance sheet were adopted, the latter showing an increase in funds on last season. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Mr H. R. Duncan; Vice-Presi-dents', Dr. Orford, Messrs L. D. Easton, W. Dee, W. Devenish, H. Baigent, S. F. Bolton, W. W. Clifford, and Rev. J P. Kempthorne ; Hon. Secretary and Treasurer, Mr T. L. Floyd ; Management Committee, two delegates from each club; Selection Committee, Messrs E. Spear, F. Harford, W. Batchelor, Goodman La Motteu ; Delegate to New Zealand Hockey Association Mr W. H. Johnston (Cliristchurch); Auditor, Mr. \V. Dee. It was resolved that entries for the Championship competitions close on April 18th. It was decided to send a representative team on tour towards the close ofthe season. Votes of thanks were accorded the hon, secretary (Mr Floyd), Mr Stallard for the use of the room, and thu Chairman.
