TURKEY AND BRITAIN.
LONDON, Fridy. The "Times" Constantinople correspondent reports that an Anglo-French syndicate, consisting of the Bank- of England and the Ottoman Bank and its group, had brought the majority of the Constantinople Quays Company's shares. The company heretofore was exclusively French, being organised under the aagis of Great Britain and France. The "Daily Mail's" correspondent interviewed the Sultan, who declared that he sincerely desires the strengthening of tho old bonds of friendship existing between Great Britain and Turkey.
