DEPARTURE OF DE WET

LONDON, Yesterday. General De Wet has sailed by the s.s. Saxon for the Cape, the European climate being unsuited to him. Sereral members of his family are ill in South fAfrica. A large crowd witnessed his departure without any display of emotion. Mr Schalkburger has arrived in London, and probably replaces General De Wet, accompanying Generals De Larey and Botha to America.
