YESTERDAY. Tho monthly meeting of the Nelson Education Board was continued yesterdav aflercoon. The Piomised Land School Committee were authorised to accept Mr Lincham's [tender of £{) IPs !»d for pointing the teacher's houso. The Town Committee informed tbe | Board that tney were complying with the i notice under the Noxiou- Weeds Act in respect to Toi Toi Yalley School ground. I The Motueka School oinmittec renew- j ed their application for the payment of two unauthorised acecnnts, explaining the circumstances undor which the work had been undertaken without authority. It wa> resolved that the amount of tho aecoui.ts be granted The Westport School Committee informed the Board that it was in pia* e of what was formerly tho Boys' Schhol and the Girl.-' School that they required a new brick building. It was decided that tbo Secretary wire to Mr Colnn M.H.R , for Buller, requ sting him to try and have a sufficenfc sum placed on the supplementary estimates for the school n- fer red to. The sum of £2 10s was granted the Black's Point School Committee for gravelling.
