[united press association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The printers' dispnte referred to the Conciliation Board afc the instance of the Wellington Typographical Union haa been fixed for hearing on the 26fch inst. Seventy-four newspaper proprietors and master printers in the Industrial District hare been cited. The claim is in regard to hand compositors, for whom a weekly wage of ,£3 os for day hands and £3 12a 6d for night employes is demanded, ;the piece rate not to be less than Is Id uer 1000 ens. * The Conciliation Board continued its hearing of the iron and bra3B moulders' dispute to-day. Employers intimated that owing to the un-conciliatory attitude of the Onion they would withdraw from the concessions agreed to the previous day. Mr Booth, manufacturer of agricultural machinery at Chrtstchurch, said that the decreasing hours of labour and the increasing wages would help trade on the down grade, along which ft had already started. Competition from America even now was a very real and important factor, and it was daily becoming keener.
