CONDUCTIONS FOR FORGERY.
j [UNITID PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHUECH, This Day. At the Supreme Court to-day, Charles Sutton was sentenced to three years' imprisonment for forgery. AUCKLAND, This Day. At the Supreme Court, George Pitzherbert was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for forgery, and two yearß for theft, sentences to be concurrent. Mr Justice ConoUy said the accused was on* of the most hardened criminals that had even been before the Court. Adolphus Rees was sentenced to four years' imprisonment with hard labour for forgery and false pretences.
