At the Supreme Court, George Pitzherbert was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for forgery, and two yearß for theft, sentences to be concurrent. Mr Justice ConoUy said the accused was on* of the most hardened criminals that had even been before the Court. Adolphus Rees was sentenced to four years' imprisonment with hard labour for forgery and false pretences.
