POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS.
Christmas and Boxing Days. The following postal arrangements bave been made for Christmas and Boxing Days, 25th and 26th inst. Friday, 25th J inst, will be observed a close holiday, but on Saturday, 26th inst., (Boxing Day) 6 will be open in all branches trom 9 to 10 i a.m- . / i On the evening of the 24th all re- t ceiverß and postiug boxes will be cleared s at 6 o'clock. Mails usually despatched i on Friday 25th will be closed on Thurs- t day night at 7 o'clock. This will also t apply to ship mails, and a delivery of e .town letters will be made over the counter f between 7 and 8 p.m. On the 26th inst. 1 all mails will be made np to 10 a.m. 1 Telegraph Branch.— Hours of attend- i ance, 25th and 26tb.— Morning, 9 to 10 < o'clock ; Evening, 7 to 8 o'clock. 1 The Telephone Exchange will be open i from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, and as usual i on Satnrday. Sob-offices throughout the district will observe a close holiday on Friday, and ; will open from 9 to 10 a.m. only on i Boxing Day.
