Stabbing Case.

Sydney, This Day. A youth named Thos McLean, assistant steward on the steamer Australasia, went on board early this morning. He quarrelled with the steward, Thos Coulson, and stabbed him in the breast. Coulson died in a few minutes. When a.rested McLean stated tbat be was drunk and that Coulson pulled him out of his bunk aud nearly smothered him. He then used the knife in self defence, not intending to kill the man.
