Vie Timber Trade.

[United Press Association] Wellington, This Day. MrFreyberg, the Government timber expert at Home, points out the advantages that would accrue to the New Zealand timber trade by the Government having a wharf of its own in London, where supplies of timber could be always kept on hand to meet the demands of the Home market. He says that New Zealand must be prepaied to supply the very best wood, cut with perfect accuracy, within fonrteen days of an order being Riven. If this can be done there caa be developed an immense and increasing industry for our people. The Government telegraphed yesterday to the Agent General informing him that a shipment of 350,000 feet of mixed timbers is about to leave Greymouth for London per Eangitikei.
