The meeting for the e'eclion of a school committee was held, Mr i has Fiy in the chair. The lnle Committees Balance Sheet was read and adopted, The following is the result of the polls: — A Drummond, 1C ; H Eveiet 1 ., 16 ; D Bare, U ; R White, 12 : JosDuucan, 11 ; W H Robiusod, 10! J Howling, 10 ; John D Fowler, 9; G Gatland, 3 , W H Jenkibs, 3;J W L DuEcan, 2 ; and 1 informal. The first seven were 'July elect d. A committee meeiiug was held afterwards when Mr A Diummond was unanimously re-elected Ci airman.
