NGATIMOTI.

At the meeting of householders nine candidates wore proposed, and the choice fell upon Messrs T. Exton, G. W. Rilcy, R. N. Allan, R. Ellis, L. Sutton, G. H. Allan, and J. E. Fletcher, the Rev J. Taylor and Mr J. Squires being the unsuccessful ones. On the newly-elected Committee meeting, Mi 1 J. E. Fletcher was elected Chairman.

Tho following form the new School Ccommittee— Messrs J Haycock, A Robinson, T Thomson, II Hudson, J Wills, Watson, Whitwell, and W Hill. Mr Whitwell was elected chairman and MiHill secretary.
