The Auckland Fire.
The loss by the fire at the Pl u_-..i_c Foundry is .£IO,OOO. The origin of the tire, which started in the pattern Ijfr, is unknown. A gereral policy on the l'ltejix Foundry was held by the New Zealand Insurance Comrany, tbe total amount being J-7,600. The reinsurances are as follows : — New Z3a'aod Insurance Company, £1250 ; Svuth British, £1000; Alliance, £1000; Coumereial Union, £750; Pltc.;x, i.750 ; Imperia', £600 ; National, iSOO ; Victoria, £500; Ncrwich Union, £500; and tbe St»ndard, £250 ; total, £7,t>00.
