Lighting Railway Carriages.
Wellington, This Day. A deputation waited to-day oh the Traffic M inager ot the Government railway?, urging the improved lighting of railway carriages. In reply Mr Dawson said that the Commissioners were watohing experiments beiug rarried on in various parts of tha world, and a- soon as a system wa? perfected, the improvement would be adopted on the N^w Zealand lines.'
