Re Boots & Shoes. Explanatory. TN taking over the various businesses ■*- purchased by me some months igo, I then stated that I purposed remarking an 1 reducing the old stock in the Trafalgar-street •premises, but pressure upon my time prevented me from doing so until now. I have pleasure in saying that having removed the stock to HARDY STREET, I have been able to go over it thoroughly, and have RE-MARKED & REDUCED every Article irrespective of previous reductions, and I am sure that every one who does me the honor of inspecting the Stock will admit that I have acted Liberally. In further explanation, I wish to say that the Specially Reduced Goods consist chiefly of CHILDREN'S, YOUNG GIRLS, AND LADIES' Boots and Shoes, The High Class DRESS AND FANCY EVENING SHOES of French and German Manufacture are, I believe, unequalled ii Nelson, and the prices are merelj nominal. Of BOYS' AND GENTLEMEN'S BOOTS I have practically bo old goods t< offer, but as the combined Stock ii now bo large, I have determined t< reduce the same by giving a reductioi of Ten per cent upon all ihe New G»eds while this Sal lasts, provided the Cash br pai» a 1 time of purohase, but if booke< ordinary rates will be charged. A considerable portion of (this Stoc' is quite new, and of English Manu facture, directly shipped ex e. i II Tongariro " last voyage, and s.i "Halsburg," via Melbourne, just ai rived, .1., -mSubjoined are a few particulars < th« Redactions ; bat it mast not be undei stood that 1 hiive been able to mark ever] thing in the same ratio.
