Buok, tbe favorite, finished last, . Sevmno Race — Revolver 1 The Painter .. ..2 Snake 3 f Tfouth, Pi- i, and Castashore also ran. Won by several lengths. Revolver was bou ht in for £50 by the owner. Racing Club Handicap — Welcome Jack .. .. 1 Carbineer . . . . 2. The Poet ••..•• 3 Won by a neck. A length dividing the second and third horses. Publicans' Pukse — WeloomeJjck .. ..1 Mitralleuse .. ..2 Minerva... •• ..3 Jack won as he liked by four lengths. Sebjocs Accident. During this race, when the horses were in the straight, a jdan named Pattersoa tried to cross the course. He was knocked down by Mitralleuse and was roost seriously injured. Dr Hooper attended Patterson, and on examination found that several of his ribs were broken, besides his lungs being injured. New BABfe . Gift — Thunderbolt .. .. 1 tfusket-Slander's colt.. 2. Rosebud.. .. ..3 Won, after a splendid race, by a neck. Gbakd Stand Handicap — Libeller 1 Sou- wester .. ..2 / Administrator ..3 Minerva, Fislerwoman, Victoria, and Witiora also ran. Is was a grand race, Libeller winning by a length.
