The Nelson Evening Mail. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1877.

During the playing of the All-England v. Nelson cricket match trains will be run from the country in the morning, and return from Nelson in the evening. The times will he arranged to suit the convenience of the public, and advertised in due course. These trains will stop at the cricket ground. Trains from Nelson will take up passengers at the Engine Shed, near the Post Office.

The return cricket match between the Spring Grove and Wakefield Clubs came off on Saturday last on the Spring Grove ground. Wakefield, having won the toss," sent their opponents to the wickets to face the bowling of the Eden Brothers, whose trundling appeared to be too good for the Spring Grove men, as the whole ten wickets fell for fourteen runs. The Wakefield men then took the bat, and the order of things seemed to be reversed, as the batting then appeared to be too good for the bowling, for when the last wicket • fell 88 runs were scored towards which total C. Knapp contributed 27 and S. Fowler 19. E. Fowler and W. Baigent also played a good innings. The Spring Grove in their second innings ouly made 28, Wakefield thus winning iv one innings with 46 runs to spare. The .English cricketers arrived at the outer anchorage in the Rotorua on Saturday night, but for some reason or other, which does not appear to be known to anyone here, tbey did not land but pro_eeded to New Plymouth. It is presumed that they will return by the Taupo on Wednesday morning, and play the match here as originally arranged. We understand that the Colonial Bank are about to open a branch in' Nelson very shortly.

The Sunday School picnic in connection with the Presbyterian Church will take place to-morrow in the Maitai Valley. Tbe monthly inspection of the City and Port Volunteers will take place to-morrow evening at seven o'clock.

■■Captain Campbell Walker, the Conservator of Forests, arrived iv Nelson overland from .he Vest Coast yesterday. He intends to proceed to Takaka by the Lady Barkly tomorrow, and on his return will go on to Marlborough, possibly by way of the Rai Valley. The Wine of Life" can only be kept free from adulteration or impoverishment by perpetuating thorough digestion and a regular action of the kidneys and bowels. A morbid habit of body tends to derange diges-

tion, divert the bile from its proper channels into the circulation, and thus render it both watery and impure. Deficient action of the kidneys also causes blood poisoning. Regulate, stengthen, and depurate with Udolpho Wolfe's Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps — Advt.
