White was charged by Police Constable Clark with allowing five cows to be depasturing in Halifax-street on ■Tuesday last. Fined Is. per head and costs 9s. A similar complaint was lodged against Edward Newland when the same fine was inflicted. Beck v. Vere Bogle. —Claim for £2 for work done. Judgment for plaintiff" for amount claimed and costs, 9s. Hale v. Shaw.—Claim for £9 5s lOd for shrubs supplied to the defendant, who is a resident in Napier. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs, £2 9s.
