Wellington, August 5. 2.16 p.m. The debate on Mr Fox's motion was resumed lasfc night. Mr J. C. Richmond spoke, reiterating the principal features of Mr Stafford's speech. The two Maori Representatives, Tareha aud Mete Kingi, spoke for the first time, Mr Puckey acting as interpreter. Mr Yogel followed with a speech which is said to Lave been the most powerful delivered during the present session. The debase was adjourned on the motion of Mr Hs.rrison.
