To the Editor .of the Nelson Evening Mail. SIr — Having been very much struck with the feasibility of Mr Stevens' railway prospectus, would you convey fo»* me, through your journal, a wish (and I am far from being alone in this) that that gentleman would hold a public meeting. I should be glad to mako one on a list of requisition ists to induce that gentleman to do so. The matter is of such great public interest, that I think we ought to have a voice in it.
