As " Sunli'ght"'h'as liot furnished us with his name arid address, we must decline to insert his letter, but we may state that we have satisfied ourselves that, in one statement, at least, derogatory to Mr. Stevens and his connections, he is . incorrect. Mr. Stevens's letter arrived too late for insertion in our present issue, but shall appear tomorrow. William Hammond's letter shall appear to- - morrow. No notice can be taken of anonymous communications. Whatever is intended for insertion in . this journal must be authenticated by the name and address of the writer, not necessarily for-'pub-lication, but as a guarantee of good faith. .
