Oxford Bible Class Members Visit Horrelvlle

On Friday evening the Horrelville Bible Class held a social at which the members of the Oxford class were guests of honour. The visitors were welcomed by Mr F. A. Sheaa. A programme of music, games and competitions was enjoyed' by all. The Rev. Mr Fowles and Miss Obmyns thanked the Horrelville class for the hospitality extended to the visitors. The committee in charge of arrangements for, the evening consisted' of Misses J. Graham and Ht. Sheat and Messrs L. Blackmore and I. Graham. Miss I. Sheat was M.C. for the evening. IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY The Horrelville Methodist Mutual Improvement Society met on Thursday evening. Miss E. Sheat presided! over the usual large attendance. The topic for the evening was "Hymn Studies." Miss M. Blackmore and the Misses E. and H. Sheat prepared the programme. The hymn chosen were sung and stories told about how they came to be written. A number of the best loved hymns were spoken about in a very interesting manner. Mr Benny surveyed the programme of the past season, which will close with the usual social.
