Tribute To Loyal Nationalist's

Stalwarts who tad carried the banner of the National Party through the years when Labour was riding high in office were as much responsible for yesterday's success as these who had worked in recent years, said Mr J. A. Finlayson, chairman of the National Party, Marsden electorate, and a member of the Dominion council of the party, today. Expressing appreciation of the National Party victory, Mr Finlayson paid a tribute to he electorate workers who had supported Mr A. J Murdoch before and during his campaign working incessantly for his success. In thanking party workers for their efforts. Mr Finlayson said that they had carried on the work of predecessors whose untiring effort; must never be forgotten.
