AUCKLAND, Thu. (PA.)—On two charges of stealing clothes worth £59/8/- from John Court, Ltd., Mr F. McCarthy, S.M., today admitted Elwin Keer Henderson, 39, cleaner, to two years’ probation on the first charge and convicted and discharged him on the second and ordered restitution amounting to £37/12/-. "If it was not for your bad health, I would send you to gaol,” the magistrate said.

The police stated that Henderson stole the clothes between June and October, while working as a cleaner.
