Shot 4, Including Former Sweetheart
NEW YORK, Wed. (10 a.m.)—A berserk Filipino ranchhand, Henry Pio, 37, shot to death four persons near Santa Rosa, California, last night. The victims included his former sweetheart and her bridegroom.
The police said Mrs Louise Howard, 27, who had lived with Pio until recently, and her husband of one week, Clyde, 23, went to Pio’s cabin to get some ol' her belongings.
They had an argument and Pio, grabbing a shotgun, killed the married pair and Mrs Maria Silvas, sister of Louise. , Pio then went down the road to the cabin of Tony Abaya, brother of the dead women, and killed him as the latter opened the door.
