Light Plane in Harbour

TAURANGA, Mon (Sp.)—A Piper Cub aircraft of the Tauranga Aero Club came down into about 3ft of water a chain from the shore and the boundary of the airfield as it was preparing to land on Saturday afternoon.

Its pilot, Mr A. N. Holhvay, walked ashore uninjured, and the aircraft, recovered by club members, was not badly damaged and is expected to be serviceable in a few days.
