Hotel For Cats

JOHANNESBURG.— The wife of a Rand businessman is running a hotel for cats in one of Johannesburg's northern suburbs. The price of a room is 12/6 a week, which is an inclusive tariff.

The owner of the “hotel” says some of her guests are extremely temperamental. Very often they have fixed ideas about diet.

One cat went on a hunger strike until the right menu was provided. There are 12 “apartments” in the "hotel” capable of housing 24 cats, but when the demand for this type of service grows another “wing" will probably be added.
