Officers For Staff Course

WELLINGTON, Fri. (P.A.)—WingCommander 1. G. Morrison, OBE, RNZAF, and Lieutenant-Colonel A. H. Andrews, OBE N.Z. Military Forces, will attend a course at the Joint Services Staff College at Lattimer, in Buckinghamshire, next January, the Minister of Defence (Mr Jones) said today. Wing-Commander Morrison who has held the appointment of Director of Organisation and Staff Duties at the Air Department, Wellington, since 1947, is to remain in the United Kingdom on exchange duty with the RAF for two years after the course is completed. Lieutenant-Colonel Andrews has been Director of Ordnance Services at Army Headquarters since 1947 and held various staff appointments in the Middle East during World War 11. He was manager of the 2nd NZEF Rugby team, which toured England, Scotland, Wales. France and Germany I in 1946. ' !
