Austerity Zero Iciest-Era Of Hard Living In History Is Facing Britain
LONDON, Thu. (11 a.m.). — Prime Minister Attlee was received in audience by the King at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
It is understood that Mr Attlee reported on the Government’s plans for national economies. Later it was announced that he will broadcast on the coming economic cuts on Monday, night. The Lord President of the Council (Mr Herbert Morrison) said in the House of Commons today that next Wednesday and Thursday the House would have the opportunity to debate the statement to be made on Monday by Mr Attlee on. the new economies the Government was proposing.
