Avoiding Incidents In East Java
BATAVIA, Mon. (10.30 a.m.).—Republican and Dutch commanders in East Java have established joint contact posts to take action to “prevent incidents.” says a communique issued tonight by the United Nations Commission for Indonesia.
Indonesian military circles considered tonight that the situation in East and mid-Java would remain critical until “the Dutch withdraw from areas where Republican forces were there to stay.” i
