Badminton Team For Australia

WELLINGTON, Wed. (P.A.)— The New Zealand badminton executive has decided to send a team to Australia next winter to contest the Whyte Trophy. The executive has also decided to seek the cooperation of Australia to arrange a visit to both countries by a Malayan team in 1951. Malaya is the present world champion and holder of the Thomas Cup, the badminton equivalent of the Davis Cup.

It was decided that New Zealand would be represented in the 1951. Thomas Cup series and that the international federation be asked if a combined New Zealand-Av*4ialian Ua*a£: §cnm be entarad.
