LONDON, Tue. (1 pm.)—Jack Braddock, of Manchester, outpointed Bos Murphy, of New Zealand, over eight rounds, at Harringay Stadium. Braddock was most aggressive for most of the contest. His two-hand work nullified Murphy’s left-hand point scorer.
Sands Has Victory
LONDON, Tue. (11 am.) Dave Sands, British Empire middle-weight and triple Australian champion, scored a decisive but uninspiring points victory over the American Hill Billy, Pete Mead, from Arkansas, at Harringay Stadium tonight Mead put up qne of the gamest fights seen at Harringay Stadium for years and forced Sands into one of the toughest bouts he has had in England.
