WELLINGTON. Tue. (P.A.). No definite information regarding the' possible scrapping of .303 rifles as a result of the standardisation agreement being discussed between Britain and the United States had been received locally, said the deputy Chief of the General Staff (Colonel L. W. 'Thornton) today. "I do not think the change is definite at all,” he added. However, if a change were made by Britain, New Zealand would also adopt it.’’
