'Nothing Will Stop Nationalised Banks'
PERTH, Tue.—Once the Labour movement decided as a whole that private banks would be nationalised, they would be, and nothing could stop it, said the Minister of Transport (Mr E. J. Ward) at a meeting of unionists.
He added that there were other great monopolies in Australia that should be nationalised.
In future, Australians had to be big enough to allow the Government greater constitutional powers.
