LONDON, Tue. (1 p.m.)—Leaders of the 1580 mine-lift operators decided today to call off their itrike. threatened for next Friday, which would have caused an estimated 70 per cent loss in Britain’s coal output. After a conference at the Labour Ministry, they decided to accept an offer of arbitration on their wageincrease demand.
