College Not Suited For Summer School Use
KAIKOHE, Wed. (Sp.)—An opinion that the buildings of Northland College are not suitable for such a purpose will be expressed to the Auckland District Council of the Workers’ Educational Association, which had written asking for use of the college for the 23rd annual summer school, from December 26 to January 2. The WEA secretary-organiser (Mr T. Crawford) stated that, for the past few years, the summer school had been held at Wesley College, Paerata, but this year it had been considered that it might be a useful experiment to go farther afield. There would be about 100 students at the school, of both sexes. Two separate dormitories, a lecture room and •'taring facilities would be needed.
