Mony Polio Coses In New York

NEW YORK, Fri. (11 a.m.) The City Health Department today reported 56 additional cases of infantile paralysis and two more deaths. This brought the number of cases to 562 since January 1 and the number of deaths to 40. In Centralia, Illinois, last night Mrs Floyd Wilson, 23, infantile paralysis victim, died after naming her newborn son. Doctors removed Mrs Wilson from the iron lung on Tuesday to let her give birth to the child. They said the child wa; doing well in an incubator. There have been 277 cases of infantile paralysis in Ontario, Canada,. so far this year—lßo more than in the same 'period last year. Eighteen persons have died.
